How These Documents Work Together
The license defines permissions and restrictions for the specification materials.
The notice gives a short public statement of ownership, official naming, and specification authority.
The trademark policy explains how the names, marks, branding, and conformance claims may be used.
The contributing policy explains how issues, suggestions, research, examples, and pull requests may be submitted and used.
The governance policy explains who controls the official specification and how changes become authoritative.
The versioning policy explains how draft versions, stable versions, releases, deployments, and conformance claims relate to each other.
If there is a conflict between policy documents, the license controls rights and permissions.
